How To Make Your DSTV Decoder Unable To Receive Commands From The Remote Control

HOW TO DO IT
Look for the 'SHIFT' key on your dstv remote control, Press it once (it blinks) followed by the 'EXIT' button. This will quickly deactivate that remote control making it unable to change channel, increase the volume or any other function.


TO CANCEL IT AND ACTIVATE THE REMOTE AGAIN
Re-Activating the remote is almost the same but with only a slight difference, in this step Press the 'SHIFT' button again, followed by the button with this 'I' symbol (information symbol) and thats all.
